Laurent Nègre

Born in 1973 in Geneva, Switzerland, Laurent Nègre studied cinema at HEAD-Genève (Haute école d’art et de design).

He is the screenwriter and director of several feature films: fragile – Swiss Film Award 2006 – Best Supporting Actress Award to Marthe Keller; Opération Casablanca, fast-paced action comedy set as an international co-production between Switzerland, France and Canada; Confusion, a political satire in the form of a mockumentary.

Among his TV productions for SSR/SRG and RTS (Radio Television Suisse), he directed the national documentary series La Fabrique des Suisses, many reports for the RTS news magazine Temps Present as well as Coulisses de l’Événement and several chronicles Regard de Cinéaste.
