Bord Cadre films is an independent production company based in Geneva, developing, financing and producing director-driven films across borders and cultures.

Founded in 2004, the company has built its identity through long-standing relationships with filmmakers whose work combines a strong cinematic vision with a distinctive way of looking at the world. Rather than being defined by genre or geography, Bord Cadre is driven by the desire to accompany singular films and the people who make them — building a body of work that reflects the diversity and transformations of contemporary cinema.

Its filmography reflects a personal and eclectic approach to producing, guided by an instinct for distinctive voices and uncompromising cinema. Over the years, Bord Cadre has accompanied filmmakers including Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Carlos Reygadas, Cristi Puiu, Ruben Östlund, Radu Jude, Ulrich Seidl or Isaki Lacuesta - building, film by film, a collection shaped by conviction rather than convention.
