Directors

Bord Cadre films has produced and co-produced the work of sixty directors from more than thirty countries — from first features to films selected and awarded at Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Locarno, Sundance and beyond. Across more than two decades, these collaborations have brought us alongside established filmmakers as well as emerging voices at defining moments in their careers. What connects them is not a genre, a language or a geography, but a distinct way of looking at the world. We believe in relationships built on trust, artistic freedom and a shared ambition for the film. Sometimes for a single project. Sometimes across many years.
